So, we are starting with this beautiful smoothie; Super Berry. You cannot go wrong with this one. So, if you are just starting with the clean, lean diet, this smoothie can easily become one of your favorites as it tastes great and is simple to make. Plus, it can actually replace a meal and I eat it as a breakfast especially when I am on the go!
You will need:
1 frozen banana
1 cup frozen/fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries are my go-to)
1 cup almond milk (I use home made-so easy to make! find the recipe here)
I add all these extras to get the extra energy, but basically this is a done smoothie and you can enjoy it as is!
some EXTRAS are: 1 tsp chia seeds, some cinnamon powder, acai powder, nuts…
TOPPINGS: you can top the smoothie with fruit slices like more berries, peaches, pineapples, mangoes, apples, oranges, passion fruits, lychees and what not! Or top with rolled oats OR granola which is always a fantastic combination with any smoothie, OR cereals of your preference (and then it really feels like real breakfast, eh!)
HOW TO MAKE: Simply add all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth.
Drink immediately as it is best when it’s still fresh!
